WELL,LAST NOVEMBER I WON MY FIRST NATIONAL MUSIC AWARD- THE SOUL TRAIN MUSIC AWARD-THE CENTRIC AWARD/ SOUL APPROVED /UNDERGROUND!!
MY 8TH SOLO CD IS COMING OUT ON JANUARY 26,2010. IT'S CALLED A WOMAN IN LOVE.
IT WAS PRODUCED BY CHRIS"BIG DOG" DAVIS. AND I HELPED PRODUCE A LITTLE.
MY SON JAZZ TURNED 10 YEARS OLD ,DEC.6.
I WAS ON A WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM HEADED UP BY THE MAYOR OF BALTIMORE,SHEILA DIXON,I STARTED OUT GOOD,GOT REALLY BUSY MAKNG THE RECORD,DIDN'T LOSE ANYMORE...SO FROM NOW ON MY WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY WILL BE QUIET AND PRIVATE..I SEE PUTTING MYSELF ON BLAST DIDNT WORK! LOL...
MY GOAL FOR THE NEXT DECADE IS TO BE HAPPY AND SAVE ALOT OF MONEY SO I CAN RETIRE AND JAZZ CAN GO TO COLLEGE.
THAT'S IT FOR NOW..WILL TRY TO UPDATE BETTER THIS YEAR,BUT FACEBOOK REALLY TOOK ME AWAY FROM THIS BLOG..

congrats on your soul train award. you deserve it and many many more.
i pray that all your dreams come true and that you get plenty of money to send Jazz to college. still gotta "put my arms around" the idea of your retiring... wow. but i have so much of your wonderful music to enhance my life... i am gonna pray about your retirement... smile...
i gotta check your tour schedule to see if you have any plans of stopping through Atlanta (GA) any time soon...
